Terms of Service

The event

The YOLO Summit 2026 is a two-day student summit organised by The Premia Academy on August 7 & 8, 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (Kandi Campus, Sangareddy). Registration is free for students; seats are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.

U18 Sprint eligibility

The U18 Sprint is open only to students who are under 18 years of age on 7 August 2026. Registrations are verified against the date of birth provided; entries that do not meet the age requirement may be declined or converted to general attendance.

Registration

• One registration per attendee. Duplicate registrations with the same email are treated as a single registration.
• Information provided must be accurate. We may contact you on the email or phone number provided for event communication.
• Registration confirms your slot but does not guarantee entry without event check-in at the registration desk.

Changes and cancellation

The organisers may adjust the schedule, sessions, speakers or venue logistics where necessary. Registered attendees will be notified of material changes by email.

Conduct

Attendees are expected to follow the instructions of summit staff and IIT Hyderabad campus authorities at all times. The organisers may decline entry or ask an attendee to leave for conduct that endangers others or disrupts the event.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you register for the U18 Sprint we collect: full name, email address, contact number, date of birth, institution name and (optionally) a portfolio or project link. We also record standard technical details (IP address, browser user-agent) with each submission to prevent abuse.

Why we collect it

• Date of birth is used solely to verify Under-18 eligibility for the sprint.
• Contact details are used for registration confirmation and event communication (schedule, sprint brief, logistics).
• Institution and portfolio help us plan teams and judging for the sprint.

Who processes it

Data is processed by The Premia Academy and the YOLO Summit organising team, and passes through our registration workflow provider (Pabbly Connect) to deliver confirmations. We do not sell attendee data or share it with advertisers.

Minors' data

Most sprint registrants are minors. A parent or guardian may review, correct or request deletion of a registrant's data at any time by writing to riyarao@thepremiaacademy.com from the registered email address, or by calling +91 80195 99195.

Retention

Registration data is kept for the purpose of running the 2026 event and its follow-up communication, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless you opt in to future YOLO Summit updates.

IIT Hyderabad Campus Safety Guidelines

IIT Hyderabad is a gated, access-controlled campus. To keep the summit safe for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

• Carry ID: bring your school/college ID card and your registration confirmation (email or WhatsApp) for entry.
• Check in first: report to the summit registration desk on arrival (opens 8:30 AM both days) and wear your delegate badge at all times.
• Stay in summit zones: the event runs in the designated summit venues (Audi 1, Seminar Hall and Audi 2). Please do not wander into academic or residential blocks.
• Transport: delegate buses depart at the published times (Day 1 buses begin leaving at 4:00 PM). If you are being picked up, arrange it at the main gate.
• Emergencies: alert the nearest summit volunteer, or call the help desk at +91 80195 99195. First-aid support is available at the venue.
• Campus rules apply: smoking, alcohol and prohibited substances are strictly banned on campus. Follow all instructions from IIT Hyderabad security personnel.
